7/18/2012- An Epic Sunset

Last night I was lazily sitting on the couch catching up on the few shows I have recorded on the DVR when this crazy bright light was shining into the apartment. It was highly unusual considering it was closing in on 8pm. It was odd enough that I grabbed my phone and Clancy and ran the block and half down to the cliffs to check out the sunset. 

Holy cow. It was absolutely unbelievable.

First as soon as I stepped outside I saw a rainbow: 

walked one block down and peeked into the alley to be overwhelmed by this:

Clancy and I couldn't get to the cliffs fast enough. When we did...well, I was left breathless quite frankly. And feeling incredibly grateful to witness something so beautiful. Take a look:
